PEZ WATCH 12

Coming at the end of the summer is a new super hero series - JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA which will include Batman (an old PEZ favorite with no less than 4 previous versions), Superman (a PEZ first) and Green Lantern (a PEZ first).

PEZ WATCH 11

A second set of CARS 2 is planned for the release of the new Disney movie. This is a unique, first ever type PEZ with a removable, operable vehicle. Release date is projected in October 2011 with 2 characters - McQueen and Mater.

PEZ WATCH 10

Keep on the watch for number 2 set of CARS coming out to go with the soon to be released Cars 2 movie. Finn McMissle (British spy sports car) joins Lightening McQueen (with new hood logo) and Mater (with headphones).

Little Miss Sunshine

As a companion to Robbie's new MR. MEN set, the one and only Little Miss PEZ joins the collection in honor a Miss Sunshine herself - Marybeth.

A Dodger Baseball

Is donated in honor of Daniel boy's 2nd birthday and makes in ball buddies with his dad. This is the just released NEW baseball with the "Dodger" name. This goes with the previously acquired "LA" baseball.

Angels Baseball
is donated to the PEZ Museum on behalf of Dallin's birthday and his love of games that use balls.
These showed up by the box loads at local So. California Walmarts recently.

Disney Princess - Tiana
is royally donated to the PEZ MUSEUM in honor of 4 year old Miss Elizabeth and her princess dress-up birthday.
Altho' this piece reportedly came out in 2010, it was HTF until recently discovered in a remote Dollar Tree in south central L.A.

2011 EASTER BUNNY
Chocolate with a bright green stem
is donated to the Cornwall Museum on behalf of Sarah's birthday being the closest to Easter.

Mr. Men
a brand new European series - is donated to the PEZ Museum. The donation of the unique click-n-play set is made in honor of the museums founder Robbie.

PEZ WATCH 09

A one and only WILLIAM & KATE commemorative PEZ set was auctioned for charity on April 19th. (Sorry we missed it!) The lucky high bidder from Connecticut paid $13,360.
OBTW - for any PEZ fans in Connecticut, the PEZ factory for North America in Orange, CT is set to open a new visitors center there in September.

Super heros CAPTAIN AMERICA and THOR are a new release for 2011. These characters were first issued by Pez back in 1978. Renewed interest in these characters is on the horizon due to a new THOR movie is set for release in May and a new Captain America movie is set for release in July. Both PEZ are reportedly showing up NOW at Toys R Us.

Originally scheduled to be out in September, HANDY MANNY and friends is reportedly available now and showing up in WAL MARTS. These characters are based on a Disney Channel animated program.

A Click-N-Play WINNIE THE POOH series is a new release in Europe.

A new European release is a new series called LITTLEST PET SHOP. There are about 1000 characters in the Hasbro toy line, so this could be a BIG series.

Here are some new sets for 2011 in Europe.

Mr. Men Pez are based on a series of children's books by Roger Hargreaves started in 1971. Each character has a dominating trait and a look which exemplifies that trait. There is a possibility of many characters in this series based on Hargreaves 48 "MR. MEN" Characters and 42 "LITTLE MISS" characters including Mr Happy, Mr Silly, Mr Jelly, Mr Snow, Mr Bounce, Mr Forgetful, Mr Funny, Mr Bump, Mr Tickle, Mr Small, Mr Messy, Mr Greedy, Mr Sneeze, Mr Strong, Mr Daydream, Mr Fussy, Mr Worry, Mr Uppity, Mr Dizzy, Mr Topsy Turvy, Mr Muddle, Mr Mean, Mr Nosey, Mr Chatterbox, Mr Noisy, Mr Impossible, Mr Lazy and Mr Grumpy. There have been several animated film and t.v. series made with the characters in the UK and US. The characters even have their own web site - mrmen.comAnd of course - we can't get enough at that HELLO KITTY.

Appears to be the same Chocolate Bunny with whiskers as 2010, but with a green stem for 2011.
