PEZ WATCH

Images of a few new PEZ are showing up. Some were on the original 2010 list some are surprises.

The PLUSH HELLO KITTY set.

A new HELLO KITTY TIN - a lunch box with ONE new PEZ character that is different from the old tin set issued a couple of years ago. The new character is the full body Hello Kitty at the far left.

The ACE HARDWARE HAULER - available at Ace Hardware stores.

Here is a funny little PEZ that is just becoming available - yes, the weird little GEICO GECKO. Word is that he can be obtained at Geico offices (reportedly they have a number of gecko collectibles). Who has a Geico office near them?

NEW ACQUISITIONS

We need to catch up on the New Acquisitions and bequeathments since Robbie's birthday.
MARYBETH'S BIRTHDAY
On behalf of Marybeth's special birthday, she is probably 'expecting' something extra special. And here it is... a vintage NF Lil' Lion from the Circus Animals series. This is our first acquisition in this series that came out in 1969 .
DANIEL'S BIRTHDAY
We hear Daniel Boy likes to roll with trucks. This is a brand new 2010 CVS TRUCK in the Hauler Series donated to the PEZ Museum in honor if his first birthday.
JASON'S BIRTHDAY
In honor of Jason's 30th birthday and the all-seeing wisdom of this venerable age the donation is made to the PEZ Museum of two retro Psychedelic Eyes the rare Black Hand and the very rare clear, crystal hand.
SARAH'S BIRTHDAY
In honor of Sarah's birthday a donation is made to the PEZ Museum of the latest, and unique Disney Fairy - Terrance. As Sarah flies off to college she hopes to find other boys in a "Fairy - tell" like manner.
ELIZABETH'S BIRTHDAY
Every little girl likes fairies and so in honor of Elizabeth two Disney Fairies - Fawn & Rosetta are donated to the museum. Issued in 2009 they finally, thanks to Elizabeth join the other 6 fairies already in the collection.
DALLIN'S BIRTHDAY
In honor of fun, family man Dallin two rare and hard-to-find (HTF) Pez Keychains are donated to the Pez Museum. Bart & Marge give Homer (already in the collection) a family with whom to be.

Now here is a scary new Giant PEZ that is reported to have just hit Toys R Us : BARBIE.

I think this is a PEZ first - with HAIR.


Sightings have been reported for new HELLO KITTY - full body PEZ. It seems there can't be enough of this figure.

NEW AQUISITION

Sarah got an EASTER BUNNY PEZ in her Easter basket... the 2010 Choco Bunny with buck teeth and white whiskers.

Complete the Set

For Robb's Birthday we complete the set of Disney Friends classic characters. Joining Bambi and the Dalmatian are Baloo, Aristocat Marie and Simba.

HEART'DAY 2010

The traditional PEZ Valentine Hearts received a design change for 2010. The bottom tip of the heart drops down and overlaps the stem. Only two colors - crystal clear and crystal hot pink - were issued. One of each is added to the Cornwall Collection. Each had two saying (instead of the 13 previously), "Be Mine" and "Happy Valentines Day".

New for 2010 - the chocolate Easter Bunny gets a variation with white whiskers and buck teeth.

A PEZ find

Marybeth and I just got back from our trip to Europe as you can see from above. I saw the Dalmatian PEZ a while ago in the store and it looked like one that we didn't really have. I didn't think much of it, but in asking questions I found out that it is only sold in Europe. I went back and found that the Bambi PEZ was being sold as well. There were no other from this set. But I was excited to be able to find something before any other candy cornwalls.

These are out for Valentines '10. The characters are not new. It's just gift box packaging.
Not much reason to add to the collection.
These have been seen locally at Cost Plus for $7 -$8.

Santa delivered quite a haul of PEZ to 336 this year...

The new PEZ Polar Bear, Santa and Reindeer with snowflake stems and the Santa Hauler

Rex & Woody joined the Best of Pixar series

The Faires european editions joined the collection.
(Compare to the US editions in the top picture.)

One of the most amazing and detailed collectable series ever released - OZ.
None of these characters have ever been issued by PEZ before nor are they available retail as singles.

Another truck to the collection - the Sprint All-Star Race Hauler.

MORE TRUCKIN'

Hollywood Video has some new PEZ Trucks. Hollywood Video is NOT still in business in So. California, there are none in Portland, but there are a bunch in Utah, and Conn. and Mass. If their are some in your neighborhood check it out.

In honor of Paisley's Birthday the new SUPER SLEUTH WINNIE the POOH AND TIGER are donated to the Cornwall Museum.

GOOFY BIRTHDAY

Mom, for her birthday, received the final piece - GOOFY - in the Clubhouse Disney set. It has been coming out little by little since last year.

Here are all the Mickeys & friends (non-special-edition) currently in the collection.
They are tagged with their generational letter. For example "a" is the first edition of that particular character.
