A PEZ BREW

In honor of Miss Paisley Cornwall's birthday number 2 she gets 2 PEZ. Number 1 was sent to her in wrapping paper (with a load of PEZ candy to dispense). She can share about that if she wants to.

Number 2 PEZ is a CLEAR CRYSTAL WITCH "C" - donated to the Cornwall PEZ Museum in Honor of Paisley's 2nd birthday.

The Clear Crystal Witch joins her Witch "C" sisters, Yellow Face, standard Green Face, Glow-in-the-dark, and Black Face

She also joins her CLEAR CRYSTAL cousins, the SLIMY, HAPPY & SPOOKY GHOSTS, SKULL "B" and PUMPKIN "C".

Yummy PEZ

The other day Mom and Dad were walking through Toys-R-Us (looking for Halloween accessories) and Dad mentioned he was surprised that no one had found the new Mulan & Pocahontas PEZ as they should have been out for some time. Mom suggested, "Why don't you look on that forum that told us where we could find the Easter PEZ last spring?" So today I logged in and this is the first entry that came up stating where this collector had finally found them.

I posted it for a SWEET memory for all of us New England travelers last December.
p.s. Many other entries said that these Disney Princesses had finally hit the Wal Mart in their town. None noted any much west of the Mississippi.

In another forum chain dozens mentioned BEE MOVIE PEZ in Wal Mart all across the country. So Keep a look out.

BOO! FOR HALLOWEEN

The new additions to the Cornwall PEZ Museum HALLOWEEN section are 1) MR. UGLY - This is part of an old Halloween set first issued in about 1970. 2) BLUE CRYSTAL PUMPKIN - This is a special limited release earlier this year (from CCC).

They look good as part of our HALLOWEEN family don't they?

Also joining the HALLOWEEN family is CLEAR CRYSTAL SKULL with jewel eyes.
He joins his brothers - the SKULL; the GLOW-IN-THE-DARK SKULL and "DIABLO"/BLACK HEAD SKULL.
Oh yeah, will these boys have fun on Halloween night!

NEW/OLD MICKEY

I have bid on this unique Mickey set recently. I haven't been too aggressive. They appear to be a NEW set to commemorate 80 years. They are probably from Europe and a few e-bay sellers are offering them quite regularly. I will keep you posted.

A GRAND SALE

Here is an esPEZcially nice way to make over a thousand bucks all at once.

Most of the above in my experience usually sale for $40 - $50 each. The really rare/expensive ones above are the far right - CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON ($350 - $500) and the second from the right (it is hard to see) a little full body HIPPO. I've never seen one of those before. It is recorded to sale for $550 - $1000 all by itself.
p.s. These are definitely outside the Cornwall budget. We did not attempt to bid in fact the Cornwall Collection possesses only ONE of the above shown.

There was none of the special edition Elvis PEZ to found searching for weeks from the Pacific to the Atlantic until Dad stopped in the new Walgreens on the corner of Lake and Orange Grove in Pasadena a few blocks from his office last Friday on the way home from work.

Snow White has joined her princess friends in the Cornwall Collection. She was found at a 99 cent store in La Puente.

I got lucky on a bid this/Saturday morning. (This seems to be good time for me.) My win was one of the CIRCUS SERIES (listed above), of which we have only one other The BIG TOP ELEPHANT/DUMBO. This is an old, old series and usually out of The Cornwall Museum's budget. I bid three hours before the close and no one bid after me. The seller did not label the piece 'vintage', which it is, so I got it for less than half what they usually go for.

I will reveal the character at a future date when it is officially donated to the Collection.

Since Jason and Stef's birthday's are so close the contribution to the PEZ Museum is made jointly of this new SPECIAL EDITION CRYSTAL BUBBLEMAN set. Happy BirthdayS to you.

ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL

As totally unromantic as it seems - Mom got a SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY, SILVER EDITION of that famous him & her couple MICKEY & MINNIE. These are only available from rare sources via Europe and will now have a special place in the Cornwall Collection.
Note: The PEZ "Anniversary" is of the birth of the 1st PEZ in 1927.

I won 4 PEZ at 6 a.m. this morning (ebay - I was the only bidder, YEA!). This completes a set. I will reveal the new PEZ identity's in the coming days/weeks.

DISPLAYS UPDATED

Recent acquisitions required some reorganizing of some of the displays.

Mickey & Friends were joined by other sets to make an all Disney shelf.

Looney Toons were moved to a shelf of all classic cartoon characters.

A children's cartoon character shelf was formed.

Room was made for the Bride and Groom Pez Pals.

Easter got it's own shelf - no longer combined with Christmas and Halloween.
